The Saunasella sauna chairs are suitable for all types of saunas, infrared cabins as well as for lounge areas. The Wood type chairs have been carefully designed to take little space and at the same time ensuring that they are pleasant and ergonomic to relax on. This feature is important, especially when you use the chair in a sauna where the space is limited. The chairs are resistant to heat and humidity and tested to meet the high demands especially for the public areas. All Wood chairs are foldable and can thus easily be put aside when not needed or during cleaning.

The idea of bringing a chair in a sauna might at a first feel strange. However, compared to a traditional sauna bench, a sauna chair offers a pleasant and ergonomic sitting posture. In a public sauna, you get your own private sitting space. The user can change the rooms layout easily by increasing or decreasing the number of chairs and making sure that social distancing is taken into account. If laying down in a sauna is also important for you, you can naturally combine both traditional benches and sauna chairs in the sauna.

In saunas, the chairs are usually placed on the lower bench level. In infrared cabins, the chairs can also be placed on the floor. When choosing the right-sized chair for sauna or infrared cabin, you should pay special attention to the chair measures informed below at each chair type.

Relax after your bath

The Saunasella chairs are a perfect fit outside the sauna, swimming pool or an infrared cabin. The compact features of the Wood chairs come handy in lounge areas, where space is more limited. With more space, the Classic 60 chair combined with the W10 footrest is an excellent choice. The Fortis chair, with a higher and wider seat, is a perfect choice for the elderly and bathers with reduced mobility.

All Saunasella products are handmade in Finland. All the chairs are made of durable alder. The wooden surface on the chairs is waxed to make it repellant to dirt. The backrest is flexible and shapes itself comfortably to the back and gives it support. The sitting position becomes comfortable and relaxing. The Wave Balance Steel lounger is made of birch and the wooden surface is here lacquered. All fittings in the chairs and the lounger are made of stainless steel.

Wood W90

This chair takes the least space of our chair assortment. It can be easily folded. When the chair is placed in a sauna, the recommended bench depth minimum is 90cm. The chair can be equipped with armrests and W10 footrest. Note that the armrests extend the width of the chair with 13cm.

Wood W100

This is our medium size chair and is most sold for the sauna interior use. When the chair is placed in a sauna, the recommended bench depth minimum is 100cm. The chair can easily be folded. Wood W120

When more space is available, we recommend the W120 chair. Here the width of the seat is wider, and the sitting angle is more reclined compared to the other Wood chairs. When the chair is placed in a sauna, the recommended bench depth minimum is 120cm. The chair can easily be folded. Available accessories are armrests and W10 footrest. Note that the armrests extend the width of the chair by 13cm.

Fortis

The Fortis sauna chair has a higher and wider seat that enables sitting without any extra effort. The chair’s stability and supporting armrests make it easier to sit in the chair and get up from it. The backward leaning seating position is comfortably relaxing and supports the entire back. This chair was developed together with rehabilitation professionals in order to meet the wishes of the elderly and bathers with reduced mobility. The Fortis comes with fixed arm rests. Available accessories are the Fortis foot support and W10 foot rest.

Classic 60

In this chair, the sitting position is the most reclined compared to our other chair types. The side feet of the chair are stylishly curved. The chair comes with fixed armrests. An available accessory is a W-10 footrest.
